German Torpedo Boat Shipwreck:

During the World War I, while the Inflexible and Irresistible war ships were bombing the Canakkale shores, the German command center was near the Cimenlik castle. One of the bombs dropped just near of the castle. The soldiers have been evacuated instantly and got on aboard of the torpedo boat tied to the shore for safe passing across the straits. But one of the Irresistible's shells was the end of the German ship in 18th of March 1915. The ship which 1315 privates dead, lies just outside the Canakkale yatch marina. The wreck lying in 16 meters depth, is just in the middle of the harbour and diving isn't allowed. But you can see the wreck on the days that water is clear.
